This beautiful vintage Sunkist white opaque glass juicer/reamer was made by McKee Glass Company in Jeanette, Pa. Sunkist orange growers marketed the reamers to encourage consumers to “Drink an Orange”. This juicer is not marked but research shows these Sunkist reamers were produced by McKee beginning in 1926 through 1951.
“Sunkist” is printed in raised letters on both sides of the piece. The underside is marked, “Made in U.S.A. Pat. No. 68764”. The reamer is made of opaque white glass.
It is 8 1/4 inches wide from handle to tip of spout and 5 3/4 inches wide across the bowl. Reamer stands 3 inches tall and is 1 3/4 inches tall to top rim of bowl. Bowl holds one cup, 8 fluid ounces of juice.
Excellent condition for its age. 1small chip on the handle.
