A Gabione, also known as a stone wall, stone basket, or retaining wall, is a wire mesh container filled with stones. This results in a highly stable and decorative feature that can be used as a barrier (for privacy and noise reduction), retaining wall, protective wall, modern trash can enclosure, slope stabilization, or for landscaping. The Gabione is very easy to assemble, position, and fill. The metal basket is ideal for coarse stones like gravel, granite, basalt, quartzite, dolomite, limestone, etc. For finer materials, we recommend lining the Gabione baskets with a hexagonal mesh (welded wire). Multiple stone baskets can be placed side by side or on top of each other using stable spirals. Different sizes can be combined to create a design element in your garden, offering nearly unlimited landscaping possibilities. To prevent deformation during filling, our Gabiones come with matching spacers that are evenly distributed and hung inside the metal basket before filling. Delivery is stone-free, and the article is delivered disassembled. The metal baskets can be set up horizontally or vertically.
