【Product Overview】
"Samurai Champloo," which aired on TV in 2004. Directed by Shinichiro Watanabe, this work perfectly "champlooed" the elements of period dramas and Hip Hop. Its innovative visuals and music captivated not only anime fans but also Hip Hop enthusiasts, making it a groundbreaking work at the time, and it continues to receive high praise both domestically and internationally.

Director Watanabe, known for his deep knowledge of music, selected artists for this work including: Nujabes, a trackmaker who shook the scene with his lo-fi Hip Hop and later spawned many followers both domestically and internationally; fat jon, who was active from the 2000s with Five Deez and also released a solo album produced by Nujabes; FORCE OF NATURE, a unit by KZA and DJ KENT, who are top runners in the club scene; and TSUTCHIE, who continues to lead the Japanese Hip Hop scene as a trackmaker for SHAKKAZOMBIE since its early days.

The tracks created for "Samurai Champloo" were released in 2004 as four CDs: "Departure," "masta," "impression," and "playlist," which were smash hits. Now, after 18 years, they are being released on vinyl. Each title is being released on vinyl for the first time.
