The base and blade are riveted together with 2 pins producing a strong and invisible joint. All faces and edges are ground and lapped for straightness and parallelism. Manufactured to strict German DIN 875/0 standards and guaranteed square to within 8 microns or 0.0003 inches (that’s three ten-thousandths of an inch). Comes in a padded box. Includes signed inspection certificate.
